Hi! I’m Shilo (aka. aJoyfulGirl), the host of Spin Control. I’ve been a knitter since 2006 and just started spinning in late 2009. I often find myself distracted with sewing and the many other fiber arts. I consider myself relatively new to the fiber-craft world and have a lot to learn. I hope to share my adventures as I make my way through our crafty world. In real life, I am professional in the field of Marketing and Public Relations and practice the art of spin control. You might say I am a paid spin doctor. I am the breadwinner in my little family and have to steal time away from my Husband and two kids to play in the fiber arts. Join me each week to see what kind of mess I get myself into trying to squeeze my fiber fantasies in to the busy live of a Spin Doctor.
