- I also need to book my flights for Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.
Spin a Tale
Hear all about how I celebrated the boy for his big milestone birthday.
Spinning my Wheels
Knitting
- I finished my SISC February Socks: Simple Skyp Socks by Adrienne Ku. Loving them. I am using some deep stash Socks that Rock in the color Blackbird.
- I am working on my SISC March Socks but am a little behind – The Master Coriolis Socks from Cat Bordhi’s book New Pathways for Sock Knitters, Book One. I am reusing the yarn from the January Socks.
- I am Just about finished on Plain Jane Glory, Take 2. I am hoping to be done before knit group this weekend.
- I am swatching for the Plain Jane Cardi! I am using the same yarn for both – Blue Sky Fiber WoolStok Tweed.
- I also have a big I-cord Project in the works just for fun.
Spinning
- I am still working on my first parallel draft in an effort to make this ugly batt into pretty yarn by combining it with some Alpaca and Ew hand dyed Falkland. I also have plans for the leftover oz. of Falkland. I am going to sample for a 3-ply two ways. This method appears in two issues of PLY Magazine: Issue 23, Winter 2028 and Issue 48, Spring 2025
- I am still working through Sarah Anderson’s The Spinner’s Book of Yarn Design and the first video is up on my YouTube Channel.
All Spun Up
I am all spun up and in a tail spin about the return of the FireFly Franchise. Oh, and I need to knit the Jayne Hat. There are TONS of patterns, but I think I may use this one.
