In this episode, I’ve got some knitting – A LOT of knitting, I am all spun up about the craft room, I have had some major accomplishments and we are going to revisit my Plain Jane Glory.
Updates:
- We had a great weekend in Denver and a wonderful time celebrating the boy on Father’s Day.
- After that, I got a whole long weekend to myself while the boy was in Nashville
- I got a lot of questions in relation to life about the grafting method I mentioned in the last episode. I went ahead and made a video and it’s live on YouTube: Easy Purl Side Grafting Method
- I also finished the refurb of a Gearhart 1918 Circular Sock Machine. Tutorial videos are in the works.

Knitting
- Finished the first sock in the pair of the Leyburn socks by PepperKnit.
- I am an idiot. As it turns out, the Yarn Harlot has been doing the Self-imposed Sock Club for more than a decade. Duh!
- I cast-on for my new shawl design after swatching and working out the details.
- I also swatched for the increases for the Plain Jane Glory Sweater – More to come.
