- Finished itty-bitty’s Shalom and loves it.

- I made 4 Mini Aliens from the Fuzzy Mitten Blog for my girls. I think they will love them.  I also knit a whopping 4 rows on my Daybreak.

Sewing

- I finished paired all my squares and started my piecing. I am totally loving the hand-piecing and highly reccomend it.

Spinning

- I am spinning lots of stuff during Tour de Fleece.  I have worked on a sample from Giffordables Folk -art and Fiber and one from Out of Step Dyeworks

- Finished itty-bitty’s Shalom and dove right in to spinning a fiber sample from Stone and String. 

- Getting ready to cast on a bunch of Mini Aliens from the Fuzzy Mitten Blog for my girls.  I think they will love them.

- I paired all my squares and got everything organized to start seeming the pieces.  Sadly, I still have to mark all the squares.  I will probably do that as I go.

- I also talk about a way-back project… hexagon patches to repair my favorite comforter.

This week I have some knitting, some re-knitting, some spinning a lot of stuff to give away and a little story about my insatiable appetite.

- The list – I got a note from the list holder asking when I head of to the desert.  Keep your fingers crossed that it makes it in time.

- Congrats to Kathleen G. as the March/April Donation incentive drawing winner.  She will receive a copy of the book Spin Control by Amy King. 

- Annual Repurpose-along: Conrgrats to WoolenWarrior whose submission was voted “Best-of-Show”.  She will receive a handmade project bag made from the repurposed fabric of her choice.

-  I have only been secretly knitting on my Daybreak Shawl while everyone else is in bed.  I also got back to work on my daughter’s Lion Neck Cardi.  I had to re-knit a sleeve but am making progress.  I am also about to start itty-bitty’s Shalom.

- I finished the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Sheep2Shoe kit. Lovely.  Sadly, I also got sucked into spinning some Mini-llamma but it’s pretty awesome.

-  I finished my Repurpose-along tote, and am still working on my Daybreak Shawl as part of the CampKIP Knit-along.  I also got back to work on my daughter’s Lion Neck Cardi.  Itty-bitty decided she wants mom to make her a Shalom.

- I am also still chugging away on the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Sheep2Shoe kit. Lovely.  I should finish the single today and then will ply on the e-spinner.

- Leave taking time off and spending it with my family

Pre-Drafting

- I have pretty much finished all the formal military preparations and am ready to take time out of the office to get the house and familiy ready for my departure.

- I have been cutting the 2.5-inch squares for the quilt I want to make while I am gone.  I have also been trying to figure out what travel knitting I want to take with me.  I think the Scrappy Length-wise Scarf is an excellent candidate for this trip.
